About The Role

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an Experienced Veterinary Receptionist to join the team at our prestigious Central London surgery - Elizabeth Street Veterinary Clinic!

We pride ourselves on our commitment to providing the very best veterinary care while creating a warm and welcoming environment for our teams, our patients, and their owners.

As a Veterinary Receptionist, you'll be the first point of contact for our clients, greeting them with a smile and giving their pets a fuss. You'll assist with scheduling appointments, answering inquiries, and providing general support.

This is a Full-Time position, working 40 hours per week with 1:3 weekends (TOIL for weekends worked!).

Your day at Elizabeth Street could include:

• Welcoming clients and their pets upon arrival
• Booking appointments and managing the RX Works diary
• Promoting our Healthcare Plan to ensure pets receive preventative treatment
• Booking follow-up appointments after initial consultations
• Assisting the Vet and Nurse team with queries
• Scanning paperwork into digital records
• Liaising with clients about appointment bookings and medication collection
• Ordering food and medication
• Processing payments and finance applications for larger procedures
• Managing a busy reception desk efficiently and professionally, including handling emails and social media

About You: Ideally, you will have:

• Previous experience as a Veterinary Receptionist or in a similar customer-facing role within the veterinary or medical industry
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational abilities and multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment
• A love for animals and a commitment to outstanding client service
• Proficiency in computer systems; experience with RxWorks is a huge plus!
