Job summary

Vets Now Bradford is seeking a Part Time Veterinary Nurse to join our emergency team. The role features 3-night shifts per month from 18:00 to 09:00 and a 1:4 Sunday rota from 09:00 to 18:00, plus bank holidays. You will gain access to ECC certification and a comprehensive CPD package.

Understanding your key role

Our nursing team are at the core of clinical treatment including triage, surgery, anaesthesia, and in-patient care. Key responsibilities will include:

• First Aid – give appropriate advice over the phone and perform in clinic.
• Critical Care – management and monitoring of major body systems, monitoring of in-patient trends and identifying changes quickly, physiotherapy, pain assessment, wound and dressing care.
• Diagnostics - confident to perform basic diagnostic procedures in a sole charge capacity.

Key requirements

• RCVS registered for a minimum of six months.
• Motivated to maintain high clinic standards.
• Passionate about caring for our clients and their pets.
• Experience with an ECC caseload is advantageous.

Working pattern

3-night shifts per month working 18:00 to 09:00

1:4 Sundays from 09:00 to 18:00
