These roles will deliver practical sessions such as clinical skills and animal handling teaching. The roles may also involve supporting teaching and educational activities at external or off-site locations. Successful candidates may also be involved in student selection events, student assessments, and preparing and supporting students on their placements.
Applicants must be a registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) or Member of the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (MRCVS) (or eligible to register with the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (RCVS). You must have experience of working within a clinical veterinary setting and knowledge of current UK veterinary practice. You will be able to communicate clinical concepts clearly, use your experience to support students in developing their practical skills and contribute to an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
This is a great opportunity to gain further insight and experience into teaching at our School and will provide a fabulous platform to develop your portfolio career. No previous teaching experience is required, just a passion for veterinary medicine, veterinary education, and support of our students.
