Job summary

inspiring vet care in the UK is seeking a Veterinary Care Assistant for Midhurst Vets on a part‑time permanent basis. You’ll join a supportive, team‑oriented practice committed to high standards of care.

You’ll work 32 hours a week, assisting the clinical team with patient handling, nurse clinics, and keeping the practice clean and well‑stocked. Experience with animals is advantageous, and development opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• Reliable and motivated team player with a care‑focused approach.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and clients.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage tasks effectively in a busy environment.
• Proactive attitude to learning and openness to feedback and development.
• Experience of working with animals in a clinical or non‑clinical setting would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Assist with nurse clinics and patient handling during examinations.
• Help restrain pets during veterinary examinations.
• Support front‑of‑house team to deliver excellent client care.
• Maintain clinical areas and equipment and contribute to a smooth practice environment.
