Job summary

IVC Evidensia Group is seeking a Veterinary Care Assistant for our Midhurst Vets practice. This part-time permanent role supports clinical teams, assists with patient handling, and helps ensure a safe, welcoming environment for clients and their animals.

You’ll work under a Veterinary Surgeon or Registered Veterinary Nurse, contributing to inpatient care and the smooth running of daily operations. Strong teamwork and a caring approach are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience of working with animals in either a clinical or non-clinical setting would be advantageous.
• Willingness to learn and develop within a veterinary environment.
• Good communication and teamwork are essential.

Responsibilities

• Assist with nurse clinics and patient handling.
• Restrain pets during examinations and help maintain clinical areas and equipment.
• Support front-of-house team to deliver high-quality care to clients and animals.
