Job summary

inspiring vet care is seeking a Veterinary Care Assistant at White Cross Vets, Wolstanton. The role is full‑time, 37.5 hours per week, with a focus on supporting the clinical team and ensuring high standards of patient and client care.

You will work under a Veterinary Surgeon or Registered Veterinary Nurse, assisting with inpatient care, animal handling, and peri‑operative support while maintaining a safe and welcoming practice environment.

Qualifications

• Must be reliable, motivated and team‑oriented, with a caring approach to animal welfare.
• Good communication and ability to work with colleagues and clients.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to multitask in a busy practice.

Responsibilities

• Assist with animal handling and restraint; support inpatient care.
• Help maintain clinical areas and equipment, and assist with peri‑operative tasks.
• Provide reception cover and help ensure a smooth, compassionate client experience.
• Contribute to a clean, safe and well‑run practice environment.
