Job summary

Medivet is seeking a Veterinary Care Assistant to support nurses and vets with in-patient procedures and pet care, delivering exceptional care to clients, patients and colleagues. You will work as part of a friendly team in a busy practice.

You’ll help monitor patients, assist during surgeries, and provide high-quality client communication while maintaining high standards of welfare and safety. Weekend and bank holiday work may be required.

• Experience in pet care and client communication.
• Ability to prioritise and work under pressure.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to a busy practice.

Job description

As a Veterinary Care Assistant (VCA) you will support the nurse and vets with in-patient procedures and pet care delivering exceptional care always there to our clients, patients, and colleagues. This role will also include some weekend and bank holiday working as required based on business needs.
