We are looking to recruit a Veterinary Care Assistant (VCA) at our Leeds hospital, who will provide a high standard of customer service and clinical care whilst promoting pet wellbeing and supporting the clinical team.
The role involves supporting the hospital team with the wellbeing of pets by maintaining a clean environment, assisting with animal handling, working at reception, and supporting Veterinary nurses and Surgeons. The role may also include encouraging financial contributions from clients.
Veterinary Care Assistants work both full and part-time hours depending on hospital needs. This role is an excellent starting point for a career in veterinary practice.
Applicants must have a Veterinary Care Assistant Level 2 diploma or equivalent, be highly self-motivated, and possess good customer service skills.
A minimum age of 18 years is required due to shift patterns.
