Yorkshire Vets in Meanwood, Leeds, is seeking a friendly Veterinary Care Assistant on a part-time basis to cover maternity leave. You’ll support the clinical team with patient handling, reception duties and ensure a smooth, compassionate client experience.
Working under a Veterinary Surgeon or Registered Veterinary Nurse, you’ll help with inpatient care, maintain a clean environment, answer calls and schedule appointments. Previous experience in a veterinary or animal care setting is preferred.

These surgeries offer all of the day‑to‑day facilities and services that you would expect from a local veterinarian. They are also staffed by some of the best surgeons, nurses and support staff in the region. Services and facilities at these first opinion surgeries include health examinations, vaccinations, neutering, routine surgery, dental surgery and more.
As a Veterinary Care Assistant, you will play an important role in supporting the clinical team to deliver high standards of patient and client care, while helping to ensure the practice environment runs smoothly and safely.
Working under the direction of a Veterinary Surgeon or Registered Veterinary Nurse, you'll support inpatient care, assist with patient handling and restraint, help maintain clinical areas and equipment, and contribute to a positive and compassionate experience for both patients and clients.
