As a Veterinary Care Assistant working at our Ashford Middlesex practice, you will be an integral part of the practice team.

You will work with our Veterinary Surgeons, qualified Nurses, and Student nurses to provide exceptional care to our patients.

Responsibilities include:

• Providing a gold standard service to our patients and clients
• Following cleaning protocols to maintain cleanliness of the clinical environment
• Preparing and maintaining medical equipment

This role is based at the Ashford Middlesex branch, working 40 hours a week, with 1:4 weekends at Richmond.

Role Accountabilities:

At Medivet, exceptional care is at the heart of everything we do. You will:

• Deliver exceptional care to clients
• Support operations and procedures
• Monitor and care for patients, including walking, toileting, and feeding
• Ensure completion of pre and post-operation activities
• Assist with patient transfers to out-of-hours or enhanced care
• Dispense medication under veterinary guidance
• Ensure compliance with regulatory, practice, and operational standards
