Essex Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Peer Support Worker to help veterans access Op COURAGE EoE with a recovery-focused, person-centred approach. You will draw on lived experience to empower others and promote hope, resilience and self-management.

The role requires traveling across the East of England and some remote working as appropriate, forming trusting relationships within a multidisciplinary team to support engagement and independence in recovery.

Responsibilities

• Support Veterans under the care of Op COURAGE EoE in a multidisciplinary team.
• Assist service users to understand and engage with the service and set personal goals.
• Build confidence and independence in recovery, recognizing barriers to engagement.
• Maintain the values of peer support and provide a recovery-focused, person-centred approach.
