Job summary

Advanced Resource Managers is recruiting a Vessel Operations Coordinator in London to support day-to-day Dry Bulk vessel operations, ensuring voyages are executed safely, efficiently and in line with contractual requirements.

The role involves coordinating from fixture to voyage completion, liaising with Masters, Agents and Chartering teams, and assisting with bunker planning, invoicing and voyage accounting. Strong shipping experience and MS 365 proficiency are expected.

Qualifications

• Experience within shipping, maritime operations, logistics or a similar operational environment.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft 365.
• Exposure to Dry Bulk shipping would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the day-to-day operation of Dry Bulk vessels from fixture through to voyage completion.
• Review charter parties, fixture recaps and voyage instructions.
• Monitor vessel schedules, positions and voyage performance.
• Liaise with Masters, Agents, Brokers and Chartering teams to ensure efficient voyage execution.
• Assist with bunker planning, freight invoicing, hire statements and voyage accounting activities.
• Support laytime calculations, demurrage claims and operational reporting.
• Maintain accurate operational records and documentation.
• Support the resolution of operational, performance and cargo-related claims.
