Autoskills-Uk in Chesterfield is seeking a highly experienced Multi-Skilled Accident Repair Technician to join a professional bodyshop. The role covers MET, Panel, Paint and SMART repair across a busy workshop.

The ideal candidate has a proven track record in automotive accident repair, excellent attention to detail, and a willingness to develop additional technical skills. Monday–Friday, with a competitive salary and clear career progression.

Qualifications

• Proven experience within an automotive accident repair centre or bodyshop.
• Strong background in MET, Panel, Paint and/or SMART repair.
• Multi-skilled approach with the ability to undertake a variety of repair duties.
• Strong understanding of accident repair processes and vehicle construction.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Ability to work efficiently to deadlines and production requirements.
• Conscientious, reliable and professionally presented.
• Strong team player with excellent communication skills.
• Willingness to continue learning and developing technical skills.
• Full UK Driving Licence preferred

Responsibilities

• Carry out accident repair work across multiple areas of the bodyshop.
• Undertake MET strip and refit work and light mechanical duties where required.
• Complete panel repairs, dent repairs and replacement of damaged components.
• Carry out vehicle preparation, painting, polishing and finishing work where required.
• Undertake SMART repair techniques and minor cosmetic repairs.
• Work closely with Panel, MET, Paint and Workshop teams to ensure efficient vehicle throughput.
• Complete all repairs to a high standard while following manufacturer repair methods and quality standards.
• Maintain a clean, safe and professional working environment in line with Health & Safety requirements
