Job summary

Auto Skills UK is seeking an Experienced Multi-Skilled Bodyshop Technician in Uttoxeter to work across MET, Panel, and SMART repair disciplines. You’ll ensure high-quality accident repairs, support the full repair process, and maintain workshop efficiency.

The role offers a Monday–Friday pattern, competitive salary up to £45,000 depending on experience, and opportunities for ongoing development in a modern bodyshop environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience within an automotive accident repair bodyshop.
• Strong background across MET, Panel, and/or SMART repair.
• Experience working on accident-damaged vehicles.
• Confident strip and fit, panel repair and preparation work.
• Knowledge of modern vehicle repair methods and techniques.

Responsibilities

• Carry out accident repair work across multiple bodyshop disciplines including MET, Panel, and SMART repair.
• Undertake light strip and fit of exterior vehicle components and associated repair work.
• Complete panel repairs, preparation, refinishing and painting to a high standard.
• Diagnose damage and select appropriate repair methods and techniques.
• Work closely with other technicians to ensure efficient vehicle throughput.
• Ensure all repairs are completed to manufacturer, industry and quality standards.
• Maintain a clean, safe and organised working environment.
• Complete repairs within agreed production times while maintaining excellent workmanship.
