Job summary

IC Resources is seeking a Verification and Validation Test Engineer in Bristol to join a leading global company. The role requires strong Verification and Validation expertise in an embedded environment, embedding knowledge of requirements and structured testing procedures. Candidates should possess experience with Ada, scripting abilities, and a familiarity with the complete software engineering lifecycle. British Citizenship is required. The position offers a salary of up to £64k plus excellent benefits.

Verification and Validation Test Engineer now needed in Bristol to work with a leading global company.

Suitable applicants need to have strong Verification and validation expertise gained in in an Embedded environment with experience of turning requirements into structured test cases and procedures, scripting expertise, experience working in a lab environment. You will require the following skill set:

• Strong experience of Verification and Validation (V&V) activities in an embedded software environment.
• Embedded software development experience using Ada.
• Experience of working in a lab environment
• Good working knowledge of the complete software engineering lifecycle.
• Scripting abilities

It would be desirable to have knowledge of Safety critical systems experience, Knowledge of standards such as DefStan 00-55, DO-178C & DO-330, RTOS, Test Automation and DOORS
