Job summary

Zenovo in Bristol is seeking an Embedded Software Engineer to join a team delivering safety-critical embedded software. The role involves porting software across processor architectures, testing against safety standards, and creating detailed design and test documentation.

Responsibilities include designing, developing and testing embedded software for microcontrollers, contributing to RTOS development, and working with C and assembler at a low level.

Qualifications

• 5 years' commercial embedded software experience.
• Good understanding of the software development lifecycle.
• Experience in safety-critical environments.
• Experience with processor/architecture porting and low-level development.
• Knowledge of configuration management and software requirements.

Salary: Circa £50,000 DOE

We are working with an established technology business developing safety-critical embedded software. They are looking for an Embedded Software Engineer to join their Bristol team, with opportunities across both software development and verification.

The role will involve contributing to product development, including porting software across different processor architectures, testing against recognised safety standards, and producing detailed design and test documentation.

Key Requirements
