Are you a qualified Electrician with electrical inspection and testing experience looking for something a little different from the usual electrical role?
We are recruiting for a Venue Inspector (Electrical) to join an established specialist business, carrying out electrical inspection, testing and remedial work across an interesting portfolio of venues throughout the UK.
You’ll work within environments including entertainment venues, educational establishments, conference facilities and other specialist sites, combining local work with planned national travel.
This is a permanent, hands‑on role offering autonomy, variety and excellent opportunities to further develop your technical qualifications.

This role does involve a significant amount of travel, so it's important that applicants are comfortable working away from home.
You can expect approximately 80-100 nights away per year, made up of a mixture of individual nights and blocks of several days. There is no fixed working‑away pattern, and much of the travel is planned and booked months in advance.
The busiest periods tend to fall during school holidays, balanced with significant local work and work throughout the M4/M5 corridor.
When working away:
This is a 40-hour salaried position.
Due to the nature of the work, there isn't a fixed point after which additional weekday hours automatically become overtime.
Night and weekend shifts are rare; where required, overtime is paid at time-and‑half or double time, depending on when the work is undertaken.
£COMPETITIVE SALARY Depending on Experience & Qualifications
Candidates at the top end of the salary range will need a Level 3 Inspection & Testing qualification, such as City & Guilds 2391 or equivalent, together with at least two years’ demonstrable commercial inspection experience.
