Job summary

LEGOLAND Parks is seeking Venue Hosts to support weddings and events at the UK’s most exciting Castle venue. You’ll help coordinate bookings, greet guests, and assist with on-site operations alongside the Wedding and Events Coordinators.

Roles include assisting with banquets, weddings, and outdoor events, plus on-floor support, guest escorting, and vehicle marshalling. Shifts include weekends and evenings, with some long days.

Responsibilities

• Assist with coordination of weddings and varied event bookings.
• Provide on-the-floor support and assist with day-to-day operations under the Wedding and Events Coordinators.
• Support seasonal offerings and shows, from banquets to weddings and outdoor events.
• Set up for events or wedding ceremonies; welcome and escort guests into the venue.
• Support guests with accessible lifts and the gold buggy; vehicle marshalling as needed.
• Cover the role of turnstile attendant and handle diverse assignments.
• Shifts include weekends, bank holidays and evenings; some shifts can be long (up to ~11 hours).

What you'll bring to the team

We have new openings for those with a passion for delivering great customer service and front-of-house experiences!

Come and join our Attractions and Events Venue team as one of our Venue Hosts at the UK's most exciting Castle!

In this role will see you assist with the coordination of weddings and varied event bookings. You will be reporting to and supporting the Wedding and Events Coordinators, providing on the floor support and assisting with the day-to-day operations.

You as the Venue Hosts, will support our seasonal offerings and shows, this could be from formal banquets in the Great Hall, to fairy tale weddings, lively outdoor events as well as team building days.

Within this Venue Host role, it has heaps of variety to keep you interested, no two days will be the same. From setting up for events or wedding ceremonies, to welcoming and escorting guests into the venue, from supporting guests with the use of accessible lifts and the gold buggy, to vehicle marshalling and event covering the role of a turnstile's attendant, this role will offer varied assignments and plenty of diversity.

This is a seasonal contract to starts asap and go on until the 3rd January 2027 (with possible extensions thereafter), offering 5 guaranteed hours per week. Flexibility is needed as shifts will include weekends, bank holidays and evenings. Depending on the booking, some shifts that can be as long as 11 hours and could finish as late as 2am!
