Thermatic Group is seeking a Ventilation Service/Validation Engineer to join the Critical Environments team. This remote role involves nationwide travel across the UK, delivering validation to HTM 03-01 and related British Standards.

You will manage installation and operational qualifications, verify HVAC systems, and maintain client relationships while supporting service development. A CSCS card and HTM 03-01 qualification are preferred.

We are looking for a Ventilation Service/Validation Engineer to join the Critical Environments team at Thermatic Technical FM.
This is a fully remote role, travelling Nationally across the UK.

As a Thermatic Technical Service/ Validation Engineer you will be responsible for delivering critical ventilation validation and Verifications to HTM 03-01 and otherrelevant British Standards.

Hours & Location of Work:

Main location- this is a fully mobile role covering a National scale.

Regular hours of work- Monday to Friday, 40- hour working week.
Whilst this is our company’s standard working week, our clients require out-of-hours maintenance so early starts/late finishes, weekend and night works are to be expected.

Skills, Experience & Qualifications:

• Computer literate in Microsoft office
• Ability to escal**ate** and manage quickly and effectively.

• HTM 03-01 (V) AP or CP Qualification

• Previous experience and technical awareness in a similar industry, knowledge or qualifications in HTM 0301, and familiarity with IPS/UPS, Surgical operating lights, and medical gas systems would be desirable.

Responsibilities:

• Execution of Installation and Operational Qualification Protocols
• Validation/Verification of new and existing HVAC systems
• Validation/Verification of Operating theatres to HTM 03-01
• Validation/Verification of Clean Rooms to ISO 14644
• Validation/Verification of LEV systems
• Ensuring equipment operates to Specification
• Investigating and fault finding on site when failures occur
• Developing and maintaining working relationships with new and existing clients and site teams
• Supporting the development of the Service Department
• Filter integrity testing (DPC testing)
• Measurement of air supply/extract rates
• Measurement of air change rates
• Measurement of air velocities
• Measurement of pressure differentials
• Sampling for airborne particles
• Sampling for airborne microbial contamination
• Surface sampling for microbial contamination
