Job summary

Thermatic Group is seeking a Ventilation Service/Validation Engineer to join the Projects Team. This fully remote role involves national travel across the UK to deliver critical ventilation validation and verifications to HTM 03-01 and related British Standards.

You will execute installation and qualification protocols, validate HVAC systems and operating theatres, and support the service department with client relationships and on-site testing.

Qualifications

• Computer literate in Microsoft Office.
• Ability to escalate and manage issues quickly and effectively.
• CSCS Card is required.
• HTM 03-01 (V) AP or CP Qualification.
• Strong communication skills are essential.
• Collaborative approach to working.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

• Understanding of consumer behavior is beneficial.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.

• Experience with HTM 03-01, IPS/UPS, surgical lighting and medical gas systems is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Execute Installation and Operational Qualification Protocols.
• Validate/Verify new and existing HVAC systems.
• Validate/Verify Operating theatres to HTM 03-01.
• Validate/Verify Clean Rooms to ISO 14644.
• Validate/Verify LEV systems.
• Ensure equipment operates to specification.
• Investigate and fault-find on site when issues occur.
• Develop and maintain relationships with clients and site teams.
• Support the development of the Service Department.
• Perform filter integrity testing (DPC testing).
• Measure air supply/extract rates, air change rates, air velocities and pressure differentials.
• Sample for airborne particles and microbial contamination (surface and air).

We are looking for a a to join the Projects Team at Thermatic Technical FM.

We are looking for a Ventilation Service/Validation Engineer to join the Critical Environments team at Thermatic Technical FM.

This is a fully remote role, travelling Nationally across the UK.

As a Thermatic Technical Service/ Validation Engineer you will be responsible for delivering critical ventilation validation and Verifications to HTM 03-01 and other relevant British Standards.

Hours & Location of Work:

Main location - this is a fully mobile role covering a National scale.

Regular hours of work - Monday to Friday, 40- hour working week.

Whilst this is our company’s standard working week, our clients require out-of-hours maintenance so early starts/late finishes, weekend and night works are to be expected.

• Previous experience and technical awareness in a similar industry, knowledge or qualifications in HTM 0301, and familiarity with IPS/UPS, Surgical operating lights, and medical gas systems would be desirable.
