Job summary

WR Engineering is seeking a ventilation designer and surveyor for a cradle-to-grave role within a small, family-run contractor. The position covers design, survey, procurement, and project management for LEV and HVAC systems, with regular site visits and customer liaison.

Hybrid working is possible with regular office days, and a car or allowance is provided. You will manage projects from enquiry to installation, survey customers, size systems to spec, and oversee suppliers and installers while

Qualifications

Design background in HVAC/ventilation/air conditioning/refrigeration is essential.
Ability to design and size ventilation systems, ductwork or similar HVAC solutions.
Understand fluid dynamics and pressure loss calculations.
Customer facing skills are required.
Full driving licence required.

Responsibilities

Handle projects from enquiry to installation, including site survey, design and sizing of ventilation systems.
Respond to telephone and website enquiries and maintain client relationships.
Visit customers to survey, explain technical capabilities, and ensure client satisfaction.
Design and size systems to client specifications and project requirements.
Plan, organise and supervise suppliers and installers for installations.
Prepare RAMS, method statements and other technical documentation.
Ensure ISO9001:2015 quality management compliance.
