Job summary

Jarrodean Healthcare Recruitment in Bristol is seeking experienced Care Workers to support a service user with a tracheostomy and who is ventilated, in a specialist service. The role requires 24-hour support with a team of caregivers across day and night shifts.

Applicants should have at least six months of care experience, be flexible and calm under pressure, and be able to work as part of a person-centred care team. UK right-to-work of at least eight months is required.

• At least six months care experience, including caring for a ventilated patient with a tracheostomy.
• Personal qualities to include: flexible, adaptable, confident to work without supervision and calm under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Provide full personal care and practical day-to-day support.
• Support with activities of daily living and emotional/psychological care.
• Manage appointments and assist with medication.
• Enable safe trips out and support family communication and relationships.
