Job summary

Samsara is seeking a Governance, Risk, and Compliance Automation Specialist to help assess third‑party risk and build scalable automation workflows. You will collaborate with legal, procurement, and security teams to review vendors, refine AI-enabled workflows, and drive risk management across the business.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of experience in the governance, risk, and compliance space.
• Experience implementing or maintaining vendor‑risk programs.
• Experience performing security and maturity assessments.
• Supporting the creation or maintenance of risk registers, compliance inventories, and control mappings.
• Ability to translate complex technical findings into clear business risks for non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience with vendor integration risks across SaaS platforms (e.g., Slack, Google Workspace, Salesforce)

Responsibilities

• Work with Platform Security and Compliance leadership to provide program updates and communicate risk to senior security leadership.
• Drive automation and efficiency in the vendor risk management program and scale security reviews.
• Partner with Procurement, Legal, and Privacy to document and mitigate vendor risks throughout the lifecycle.
• Champion Samsara’s cultural principles as the company scales globally and across offices.
