Job description

Amazon’s vendor recruitment team is looking for a talented Vendor Manager. Our vision is to drive scaled growth for our Retail business in Europe (EU) by cultivating vendor partnerships and onboarding the most desired brands by EU customers. In this role, you will be responsible for onboarding and scaling the most customer-relevant brands across the EU for the first 12-18 months on Amazon Retail.

You might work on any product family (Consumables, Hardlines, or Softlines) based on team needs.

Key job responsibilities
  • Your objectives will be to help build the best possible selection for our customers through the development of partnerships with new vendors. Your job will include prospecting, assessing, reaching out to, and launching new vendors on Amazon.
  • Identify, prospect, and reach out to new vendors, analyze their potential for Amazon, and lead the initial steps by cold-calling potential partners or attending trade fairs, confidently explaining the advantages of partnering with Amazon.
  • Serve as a business consultant to new vendors, providing insights and advice, and helping them integrate their catalog data into Amazon's platform. Train vendors on how to use Amazon’s internal tools.
  • Act as the point of contact for vendors, managing the entire recruitment cycle independently.
  • Negotiate annual terms with vendors to ensure long-term sustainable growth on Amazon.
  • Plan, conduct, and report analyses to understand new vendor performance.
  • Assist in developing and improving recruitment and onboarding processes, resolving technical blockers, and re-negotiating terms if vendor profitability declines.
  • Own projects and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to drive results.
Minimum qualifications
  • 4+ years of experience in retail or business management/consulting, with a focus on negotiations and results delivery.
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • English language proficiency at C1+ level.
  • Knowledge of another EU language.
  • Proven success in meeting/exceeding business and financial KPIs.
  • Excellent written and oral presentation skills.
  • Ability to work with diverse teams and decision-makers, including C-suite executives.
  • Experience with large data sets and insight generation using Excel, SQL, or similar tools.
  • SQL skills are an advantage.
  • Experience with CRM tools such as Salesforce.
