Job summary

VSI is seeking a Vendor Intern to assist the Vendor Management team in building and developing a network of language professionals and suppliers for localisation projects worldwide.

You will provide administrative support, maintain supplier data, and help ensure production teams have access to necessary resources in a fast-paced, international environment. The role offers hands-on learning in procurement within the localisation industry.

Qualifications

• University degree, preferably in Translation, AV Translation or related discipline.
• Excellent written and spoken English and strong communication skills.
• Strong organisational, planning and time management skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate records.
• Strong problem-solving and numeracy skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Proactive approach and willingness to take initiative.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexibility to support the team wherever needed.

Responsibilities

• Support Vendor Management in maintaining a network of suppliers and language professionals.
• Ensure resources are available to support production requirements.
• Update and maintain vendor information across company systems.
• Organise and maintain supplier documentation and legal records.
• Provide administrative support and assist with ad hoc tasks.
• Keep records accurate, organised and up to date.
• Communicate effectively with colleagues, suppliers and stakeholders from diverse backgrounds.
