Job summary

Optime Group is recruiting Vending Operators to join a busy airport environment at Luton Airport. The role involves stocking, maintaining and troubleshooting vending machines across two terminals, following a planned route with a focus on safety and service.

You’ll work 8 or 12 hour shifts, with early starts and flexible hours, and weekly pay. Full training is provided, with a view to temp-to-perm based on performance.

• Excellent communication skills.
• Previous airport and/or cleaning experience would be beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Replenish approximately 400 vending machines across both airport terminals.
• Follow a planned daily route to ensure machines are stocked, operational and maintained to a high standard.
• Identify and resolve basic machine faults on site.
• Prioritise machines, tasks and routes throughout the day.
• Be flexible with routes, schedules or business requirements.

What's on offer:

• Rate of Pay: £14.80
• Shift Pattern: 4+ shifts per week
• Shifts available: 8-hour or 12-hour (shift will be confirmed)( You have to be available work between 5.00-23:00)
• Weekly Pay (every Friday).
• Full training provided.
• Temp to Perm (performance based).
• Induction date : As soon as the reference check for the BLUE ID is completed.

Key Duties:

• The role involves supporting approximately 400 vending machines across both airport terminals, following a planned daily route to ensure machines are fully stocked, operational and maintained to a high standard.
• Responsible for replenishing vending machines across Luton Airport.
• Technical or mechanical experience with coffee and vending machines.
• Able to identify basic machine faults and resolve issues while on site.
• Well organised and able to prioritise machines, tasks and routes throughout the day.
• Flexible when routes, schedules or business requirements change at short notice.
• Comfortable with early starts and flexible working hours.
• Good awareness of health, safety and security procedures, particularly when working within a busy airport environment.
• Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling, including safely lifting up to 25kg and using a loaded sack truck.
• Good spoken and written English.
• Friendly, professional and confident when dealing with customers, colleagues and other people across the airport.
• Positive, self-motivated and willing to take a "can-do" approach to the role.
