Arnold Clark Group is seeking a Yard Operative at Central Car Auctions in Stafford. The role involves daily movement of sold and unsold vehicles around the site, plus general yard duties such as making number plates, stock checks and customer handling.

You will work with a diverse team across the auction journey, engaging with departments daily. A varied workload in a fast-paced environment requires organisation, reliability and the ability to communicate at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Move sold and unsold vehicles around the site for the auction schedule.
• Carry out general yard duties, including making and fitting number plates and stock checks, and interact with customers face to face.
• Provide updates and reports to managers showing completed objectives.
• Ensure adherence to company policies and goals across the team.
• Coordinate with all departments to meet the auction schedule.
