Job summary

Arnold Clark in Stafford is seeking a Yard Operative for Central Car Auctions. You will manage day-to-day movement of sold and unsold vehicles around the site and perform yard duties, including making and fitting number plates, stock checks, and greeting customers.

You'll work with a diverse team across the auction journey, stay well-organised, communicate at all levels and handle a varied workload in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day moving of sold and unsold vehicles around the site for the auction schedule.
• General yard duties, including making and fitting of number plates, vehicle stock checks and dealing with customers face to face
• Keep managers in the loop by preparing updates and reports that showcase completed objectives
• Stay familiar with the company’s policies and goals and work to make sure that all members of the CCA team adhere to set standards
• Engage with all departments to meet the auction schedule
