Job summary

QinetiQ Limited in the United Kingdom is seeking a Vehicle Engineer to support trials at Farnborough and Hurn Proving Ground, instrumenting vehicles, capturing data and producing technical reports.

You will work with military personnel and customers, analyse results in MATLAB and contribute to bid activity and proposals. A full UK driving licence is required and SC clearance is mandatory.

Qualifications

• Experience with instrumentation and data capture for test campaigns.
• Proficiency in MATLAB or equivalent analytical tools.
• Strong reporting, communication and safety-focused mindset.

Responsibilities

• Plan, conduct and support vehicle trials to meet customer requirements.
• Install instrumentation systems to capture performance data.
• Analyse trial data and produce technical reports.
• Collaborate with customers, military personnel and stakeholders.
• Contribute to proposals, bid writing and cost estimation.
• Support operation and maintenance of Hurn Proving Ground.
