Perfect Placement UK Ltd. is seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician in Kettering for a full-time, permanent role. You will service, repair, and diagnose a wide range of vehicles, with opportunities for MOT testing and further training.

The role offers a friendly environment, on-site parking, and staff discounts. The ideal candidate has 3+ years as a Vehicle Technician, relevant qualifications, and full UK driving licence.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years’ experience as a Vehicle Technician.
• Strong diagnostic and mechanical repair skills.
• Experience carrying out servicing, repairs, and diagnostics.
• Experience on brakes, tyres, cambelts, clutch replacements, and MOT repairs.
• Air conditioning and welding are desirable.
• Class 4 MOT Tester licence is highly desirable; DVSA certification preferred.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Conduct servicing, maintenance, and mechanical repairs on a wide range of vehicles.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults using diagnostic equipment.
• Perform MOT testing and related repairs where qualified.
• Replace brakes, tyres, cambelts, clutches, and perform engine repairs.
• Undertake gearbox replacements and related repairs.
• Diagnose and repair air conditioning systems, including re-gassing.
• Carry out welding and general mechanical repairs as needed.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised workshop environment.
• Complete accurate documentation and clearly communicate work requirements.
