Job summary

Perfect Placement UK Ltd is seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician for a reputable family-run automotive business in the Tiptree area. The role involves vehicle servicing and repair to maintain high standards and ensure customer satisfaction.

You will work Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 5:30pm with overtime opportunities and 28 days holiday. The company offers a supportive, family-oriented environment with brand-specific training and earning potential through an OTE of £39,000.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a Level 2 NVQ or equivalent qualification in vehicle repair or servicing.
• Full UK driving licence with less than 6 points.
• Prior experience as a Vehicle Technician is essential.
• Ideally an MOT licence.
• Friendly, driven attitude with a willingness to learn and develop.

Responsibilities

• Conduct vehicle inspections to identify mechanical and electrical issues.
• Perform repairs on engines, brakes, transmissions, and other critical components.
• Carry out routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid checks.
• Communicate effectively with the service department to ensure smooth workflow.
• Complete vehicle safety inspections and prepare reports.
• Maintain accurate documentation of work carried out.
• Work both independently and as part of a team to meet customer deadlines.
• Uphold high standards of quality and safety in all aspects of vehicle servicing.
