Job summary

Hawk Hiring LTD is seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician in Welling, Kent to join a friendly, established garage. The role offers a £40,000 basic salary, Monday to Friday hours, and no weekend work, with on-site parking and a supportive team focused on quality workmanship.

You'll service, maintain and repair a varied range of vehicles, using modern diagnostic equipment and aiming for high standards. Career progression opportunities are available in a relaxed workshop environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician or Motor Mechanic.
• Good mechanical knowledge and repair skills.
• Diagnostic and fault-finding experience.
• A methodical approach and attention to detail.
• A positive attitude and the ability to work as part of a team.
• A genuine commitment to quality workmanship.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out servicing and routine maintenance.
• Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults.
• Completing repairs to brakes, suspension, clutches, timing belts and other vehicle systems.
• Using modern diagnostic equipment to identify and resolve faults.
• Carrying out repairs efficiently and to a high standard.
• Following manufacturer procedures and workshop safety standards.
• Helping maintain a clean, organised and professional workshop.
