Job summary

Royal Mail in Poole is seeking a Level 3 qualified Vehicle Technician for a permanent position at Poole Workshop. You will inspect, diagnose, service and repair a variety of vehicles, with overtime contributing to earnings. The role offers a structured development plan and PPE, with a weekend/saturday shift pattern.

Working hours are full time with a rotating 3-week schedule. A competitive salary (£40,906 per annum) plus a welcome bonus may apply, and a pension scheme is provided.

Qualifications

• Qualified mechanic with Level 3 in Light or Heavy vehicle or equivalent.
• Own toolkit for standard repairs.
• Full manual UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Perform full range of inspections, diagnostics, maintenance and repairs on a range of vehicles, trailers and mechanical equipment.
• Carry out routine maintenance using your own toolkit.
• Access specialist tooling and shared equipment in a modern, fully equipped workshop.
