Job summary

Lakaz Maurice in Redditch is seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician to join a reputable dealer. Full training provided, including EV and MOT refreshers; trainee level 2/3 considered.

You will diagnose non-routine defects, mentor apprentices, and work Monday to Friday 8:30am–5:00pm, with Saturdays 1-in-3. Basic salary £25,000–£32,000 with OTE £44,000 and a potential £1,000 monthly bonus.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Vehicle Technician with diagnostic skills.
• Ability to mentor apprentices and work with the team to deliver great service.
• Ability to work to designated timeframes and hit productivity goals.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to company technical standards for vehicle services and repairs.
• Utilise knowledge of vehicles and relevant technologies to diagnose and address non-routine defects.
• Complete tasks within designated timeframes and meet personal productivity goals.
• Support and mentor apprentice technicians to facilitate their learning.
• Participate in specialised training sessions as required.
• Collaborate with team members to deliver outstanding customer service.
• Possession of an MOT license is advantageous, though not mandatory.
