Job summary

Octane Recruitment Limited is assisting a fast-growing UK automotive fast-fit business in Blandford to hire a Vehicle Technician at their retail centre. You will review work on customer vehicles and perform a wide range of fast-fit mechanical tasks and light/full-service work. Qualification is not required as the client will fund Level 3 IMI & Hybrid training.

Location: Blandford. Schedule: 08:30–17:30, Monday–Friday; Saturdays on rota with a day off in the week.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Vehicle Technician (not necessarily qualified).
• Valid UK driving licence — Essential.
• Willingness to complete Level 3 IMI and Hybrid qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Perform light and full-service work on customer vehicles.
• Carry out fast-fit duties: brakes, exhausts, batteries, suspension.
• Operate wheel alignment equipment and interpret readings.
• Work with workshop team to meet targets.
