Job summary

Octane Recruitment Ltd are representing a fast-growing UK automotive fast-fit business seeking a Vehicle Technician in Exmouth. You will review work on customer vehicles and perform a wide range of fast-fit mechanical tasks, plus light and full-service work. No formal qualifications are required as the client will fund Level 3 IMI and Hybrid qualifications.

Location: Exmouth. Salary up to £38,000 with uncapped OTE of around £3,600.

Qualifications

• No formal qualifications required; client will fund Level 3 IMI and Hybrid qualifications.
• Must be able to work on a range of fast-fit mechanical tasks and service work.

Responsibilities

• Carry out light and full-service work on customer vehicles.
• Perform fast-fit tasks such as brakes, exhausts, batteries, suspension parts.
• Operate wheel alignment machinery and interpret readings.
• Diagnose tyres and carry out fast-fit replacements across multiple makes.
• Work with the workshop team to meet targets.
