Job description

Job Title: Vehicle Technician (Full Time) - TELFORD

Location: JT Hughes Telford, 1 Stafford Park, Telford, TF3 3BD

Reports to: After Sales Manager

Job Purpose:

You will be responsible for maintaining our customer’s vehicles to the highest standards.

Schedule:

Saturdays: 08.30am – 12.30pm (Saturday on rota basis)

Salary:

£34,200 + productivity-related bonus up to an OTE of £38,500, including a Technician Retention Bonus as part of the basic salary.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work in a multi-franchise dealership environment under the supervision of the After Sales Manager.
• Maintain vehicles to the highest standards, including inspections, repairs, and service checks following health & safety regulations.
• Potentially qualified MOT tester (training provided).
• Ensure all paperwork is accurate and up to date.

Skills and Qualifications:

• NVQ/BTEC or City & Guilds Level 3 Motor Vehicle Service & Repair qualification or equivalent.
• Experience as a fully qualified mechanic.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• High attention to detail.
• Full clean driving license.
• Willingness to attend manufacturer training courses.

• Salary from £32,700 + bonus up to £38,000 (overtime not included).
