We're recruiting on behalf of our client for a Senior Vehicle Technician / Service Technician to join their growing team near Gomshall.
You’ll be joining a brand-new workshop with brand-new equipment, working on a varied mix of quality vehicles and carrying out the kind of work you'd expect from a busy independent garage.
The role offers a good balance of servicing, maintenance, sales preparation and general mechanical work, alongside some diagnostics and fault finding. There is no expectation for you to spend your days carrying out heavy mechanical jobs such as clutch replacements.

The workload is varied, with plenty of standard servicing and mechanical work, making this a great fit for a technician who enjoys keeping vehicles moving rather than being tied up on major repair jobs.
We're looking for an experienced technician who is confident working independently and takes real pride in the quality of their work.
This is a chance to join a modern independent workshop where you’ll have the facilities and equipment to do the job properly.
You’ll work Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm, giving you a genuine work-life balance with no regular weekend working.
On top of the basic salary, there’s also a performance-related bonus of up to £10,000 per year. The bonus is linked to workshop performance, with the target based around achieving an 85% weekly workshop throughput.
