Job summary

Renault Retail Group in Romford (RM3 0EZ) is seeking a Vehicle Technician and MOT Tester to join our workshop. You'll work in a modern, well-equipped environment with manufacturer training and clear processes.

You will carry out servicing, repairs and MOT testing, with diagnostic work, road testing where required, and a team-focused approach. The role offers 42.5 hours per week and £39,000 per annum plus uncapped bonus, overtime and a yearly insured car.

Qualifications

• Level 3 Motor Vehicle qualification and MOT tester certification required.
• Calm, professional approach with clear communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Carry out routine servicing, repairs, maintenance and MOT testing.
• Complete diagnostic work and fault finding to manufacturer standards.
• Follow workshop processes and manufacturer guidelines.
• Road test vehicles where required.

How You'll Contribute:

About You:

• Level 3 Motor Vehicle qualification.
• MOT Tester licence (Class 4 and 7).
• Calm, professional approach with clear communication.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a workshop team.
• Full UK manual driving licence (manual and automatic vehicles).

Working Hours & Pay:

• 42.5 hours per week.
• Monday to Friday, 8:30am-5:30pm with a 30-minute lunch break.
• 1 in 3 Saturday mornings (8:30am-12:30pm), paid at time and a half.
• £39,000 pa.
