The Role

The main purpose of a Vospers Vehicle Technician is to carry out servicing, mechanics, repair, and maintenance on customer vehicles to the highest standards, ensuring high customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities & Accountability

• Carry out servicing, maintenance, mechanics, and repairs on customer vehicles.
• Perform duties safely and economically, in line with HSE and Vospers health and safety practices.
• Contribute to creating a positive team environment.
• Ensure all equipment and machinery are regularly checked and maintained to a satisfactory standard.
• Maintain and develop skills in all aspects of repair, mechanics, service, and maintenance.
• Accurately interpret repair instructions to achieve first-time repairs in line with customer requirements.
• Plan and execute servicing and mechanical work efficiently to ensure timely completion.
• Handle vehicles carefully and take all reasonable care of vehicles while on premises for service.
• Communicate with customers about vehicle issues when necessary, aiding diagnostics, first-time fixes, and improving customer satisfaction.
• Perform vehicle health checks on all retail and warranty jobs, maximizing sales opportunities when additional work is needed.

Salary

Dependent on experience and qualifications, to be discussed at interview

Hours

Monday to Friday, with Saturdays on a 1 in 2 rota
