Job summary

Quattro Tech Ltd in Peterborough is seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician to perform servicing, diagnostics and repairs on VWG vehicles to the highest standards, while delivering outstanding customer service.

You will diagnose faults, service vehicles, inspect defects, carry out road tests and work with the latest equipment, following manufacturer standards and company health and safety guidelines. A full UK driving licence is required and an apprenticeship or Level 3 qualification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence.
• Experience as a Vehicle Technician.
• Time served with recognised apprenticeship and Level 3 qualification preferred.
• Dealership or independent workshop experience preferred.
• Electrical knowledge is an advantage.
• Good communication skills to explain technical information to customers and colleagues.
• Strong technical knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out servicing, diagnosis, maintenance and repairs of VWG vehicles.
• Repairing vehicles in line with manufacturers’ standards to comply with warranty agreements.
• Carry out vehicle inspections and identify defects.
• Undertake vehicle road testing.
• Use the latest industry equipment; follow health & safety guidelines.

£44,000 OTE (Based on Skill Level & Experience)
