Job summary

Hawk Hiring LTD is seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician / Motor Mechanic to join our Hook workshop. You will handle servicing, maintenance, and general repairs to high standards, with opportunities to undertake MOT testing.

The role requires NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent), a valid UK driving licence, and a willingness to train for DVSA MOT testing. On-site parking and a supportive team environment are offered.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair preferred.
• Active DVSA MOT Tester Licence is a plus (or willingness to undertake paid company training).
• Solid foundational knowledge of routine maintenance, repairs, and fault diagnosis.
• Full UK driving licence & own hand tools.

Responsibilities

• General servicing, maintenance, and repairs to high standards across a diverse range of vehicle makes and models.
• Carry out vehicle health checks and diagnostic troubleshooting.
• Perform routine mechanical repairs and ensure safety and reliability of vehicles.

Pay & Benefits

• Salary: £35,000 – £40,000 starting basic per annum (dependent on experience) + salary review after 6 months


• Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM (1-hour lunch break daily / 40-hour work week / NO WEEKENDS)
