Job summary

Silcom Recruitment Limited, on behalf of a Southampton-based employer, seeks an experienced Vehicle Technician & MOT Tester to join a team at a site on the outskirts of Southampton. You will undertake repairs, servicing and diagnostic work across a range of vehicles.

Applications welcomed from Vehicle Technician level through to Master Technician (with/without an MOT Licence). This is a full-time role, Mon-Fri 8:00–17:00 with no weekends, and a salary up to £45,000 depending on experience plus

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence.
• Sound mechanical knowledge.
• Brand experience is desirable.

Job description

The Role:

Right now at Silcom Recruitment, we have another of our great clients who are on the lookout for an experienced motor tradeVehicle Technician & MOT Tester who is required at one of their sites, an established business based on the outskirts of Southampton.

My client will consider applicants from Vehicle Technician level through to Master Technician (with/without an MOT Licence) to join their team on a full time permanent basis.

The day-to-day duties you will be carrying out as a Vehicle Technician are as follows:

Undertake repair and servicing of motor vehicles.

Carrying out servicing/inspection and repairs to a variety of vehicles.

Conducting diagnostic work using a variety of different equipment.

A full UK driving licence.

A sound mechanical knowledge.

Varied brand experience is highly desired due to the nature of the role & business.

Package:

Basic salary up to £45,000 (dependent on experience, top end of salary would be a branded Master Technician level). As well as great company benefits.

Monday to Friday 8.00am - 17.00pm, no weekends!!
