Job summary

Halfords Garage Services in Peterborough is seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician / MOT Tester to join our Fusion Centre. You will perform MOT tests to DVSA standards and carry out a wide range of maintenance and repair work, from diagnostics to routine servicing, ensuring every job is completed to the highest standard.

Qualifications

• Level 3 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent)
• Valid MOT Testing Licence
• Full UK driving licence with fewer than 9 points

Responsibilities

• Carry out MOT tests to DVSA standards and perform a wide range of vehicle maintenance and repair work
• Diagnose and repair vehicles, including routine servicing and advanced diagnostics, to high standards

• On-target earnings up to £42,970
• Comprising a base salary of £36,770
• An uncapped monthly bonus scheme with average additional earnings of £6,200 per year.
