Job summary

Halfords is seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician / MOT Tester to join our team. You’ll carry out MOT tests to DVSA standards and perform vehicle maintenance and repairs, from diagnostics to routine services, ensuring high-quality work across all tasks.

Qualifications

• Level 3 qualified in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent qualification or experience).
• Valid MOT Testing Licence.
• Must have a full drivers licence with no more than 9 points.

Responsibilities

• Carry out MOT tests to DVSA standards.
• Perform a wide range of vehicle maintenance and repair work including diagnostics & repairs and routine services.
• Ensure every job is completed to the highest standard.

Education

Level 3 qualified in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair

Valid MOT Testing Licence

Job description

• On-target earnings up to £42,970
• Comprising a base salary of £33,000 - £36,770
• An uncapped monthly bonus scheme with average additional earnings of £6,200 per year.
• 5 days a week
