Vehicle Technician / MOT Tester

An exciting opportunity has become available for an Automotive Vehicle Technician / MOT Tester within a Fast Fit Company located in Newbury.

Our Automotive Client is looking for a motivated and experienced Vehicle Technician or Car Mechanic who can work independently. The ideal candidate will be fully qualified and experienced in the role.

Typical Duties

1. Carrying out servicing and repairs on a variety of cars
2. MOT testing
3. Performing diagnostic testing to identify vehicle faults
4. Ensuring paperwork is completed accurately and to high standards

Requirements

• Fully qualified Vehicle Technician to NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
• Current and valid UK driving license
• Dedicated and committed approach
• Passion for the role and enjoyment of all aspects of vehicle maintenance
• Own vehicle technician tools

Salary & Benefits

• Up to £33,500 basic salary + bonus
• 5-day work week with 2 Saturdays per month, with a day off in lieu
