Job summary

Halfords is seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician / MOT Tester to join our team in the UK. You will perform MOT tests to DVSA standards and handle a broad set of maintenance tasks, from diagnostics to routine services, ensuring every job meets our high quality and safety standards.

The role offers a base salary of £36,000, with an uncapped monthly bonus scheme averaging £6,200 per year and on-target earnings up to £42,200.

Qualifications

• MOT Testing Licence required and valid.
• Level 3 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair or equivalent.
• Full UK driving licence with no more than 9 points required.

Responsibilities

• Carry out MOT tests to DVSA standards and perform a wide range of vehicle maintenance and repair tasks.
• From diagnostics to routine services, ensure high-quality workmanship and safety on every vehicle.
