Job summary

Halfords in Cardiff is hiring a skilled Vehicle Technician / MOT Tester to join our team. You’ll carry out MOT tests to DVSA standards and perform a wide range of vehicle maintenance and repair work, ensuring every job meets the highest standards.

We offer excellent training, development opportunities and an uncapped bonus scheme, with on-target earnings up to £40,500 and a base salary of £34,500 plus a typical £6,000 annual bonus.

Qualifications

• Level 3 qualified in LightVehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent qualification or experience).
• Valid MOT Testing Licence.
• Must have a full driving licence with no more than 9 points.

Responsibilities

• Perform MOT tests to DVSA standards and carry out a wide range of vehicle maintenance and repair work.
• Diagnose faults and complete routine services to high standards.
• Deliver excellent customer experience and keep vehicles safe on the road.
