Job summary

Halfords is looking for a skilled Vehicle Technician / MOT Tester to join our team in the UK. You will perform MOT tests to DVSA standards and carry out a wide range of vehicle maintenance and repair work, from diagnostics to routine services.

Qualifications

• Level 3 qualified in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair or equivalent.
• Valid MOT Testing Licence is required.
• Full UK driving licence with no more than 9 points.

Responsibilities

• MOT tests carried out to DVSA standards and related servicing.
• Carry out vehicle maintenance and repair work, including diagnostics and routine services.
• Ensure every job meets the highest standards and customer service expectations.

• Comprising a base salary of £36,000 - £38,710
• An uncapped monthly bonus scheme with average additional earnings of £6,200 per year.
• 5 days a week (This centre is closed on Sundays)

As a Vehicle Technician / MOT Tester, you’ll carry out MOT tests to DVSA standards and complete a wide range of vehicle maintenance and repair work. From advanced diagnostics & repairs to routine services, you’ll ensure every job is done to the highest standard.
