Job summary

Halfords is looking for a skilled Vehicle Technician / MOT Tester to join our team. If you're an experienced mechanic with a passion for delivering excellent customer experience and keeping vehicles safe on the road, we want to hear from you.

As a Vehicle Technician / MOT Tester, you'll carry out MOT tests to DVSA standards and complete a wide range of vehicle maintenance and repair work. From diagnostics to routine services, you'll ensure every job is done to the highest standard.

Qualifications

• Level 3 qualified in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair or equivalent.
• Valid MOT Testing Licence.
• Full driving licence with no more than 9 points.

Responsibilities

• Carry out MOT tests to DVSA standards and complete vehicle maintenance and repairs.
• Perform advanced diagnostics and routine servicing to high standards.
• Contribute to a safe, high-quality customer experience.

Job description

• On-target earnings up to £42,800
• Comprising a base salary of £34,000 - £36,000
• An uncapped monthly bonus scheme with average additional earnings of £6,800 per year.
• 5 days a week (this centre is closed on Sunday's)
